The grinding plant is at a remote location. It includes raw coke storage, coke grinding equipment, dust collection, pulverized coke storage and truck loading facilities.

The proven design allows flexibility in the plant's output and size distribution of the pulverized coke.

Current market economies of scale favor a single grinding plant with the capacity to supply numerous lime kilns.


PeTroCoke Silo The coke feed system silo is typically a weld 12' diameter silo varying in height from 80' to 90' depending on storage capacity.

The storage silo has two main functions. The first is storage of the pulverized coke. The second is as a component of the lime kiln feed system.

Our storage silo is designed with two to three days' excess capacity. It includes the truck unloading system, dust collection and level indication equipment.

The lime kiln feed system consists of a proprietary hopper design, maintenance gates, control feed system, and a pneumatic conveying system. The control system allows metering of the coke and has a digital display. Design flexibility exists for tying the controls into a distributive control system.
